Road Trip USA Blog Hop!!!

This grandma is moving to a new house. Let me tell ya, it is rather difficult to move 17 years of crap all by yourself! AND lose over 800 sq ft of house!
I won't go into the filth the previous owner left for me to clean up!! 
 
Anyway a few years ago I had a fantastic job as a roadie working for a production company and was lucky enough to go from one end of the USA to the other every 6 wks. I decided to do a photo album of ME for the grand kids so when I am gone they will know what a cool grandma they had. LOL So here are a few of my layouts from 
THE BIG APPLE!!! 
 
I had so much fun this day! 
Everyone who knows me knows I can get lost in my own back yard so my title page for NYC is
after a movie Lost in NY. 
 

 These photos were taken while on the Gov.Island ferry.



 To give you an idea of how lost I was, I actually walked out of Macy's and looked up and asked a man standing on the sidewalk "Is that the Empire State Bldg? It was right in front of me! LOL

    Love your layouts! That's my nect of the woods, so it's cool that I recognize the sites. It's easy to get lost in NYC...it's controlled chaos, LOL It was a pleasure hopping with you!

    Great layouts! I wish I could visit New York City while I'm in New York, but I won't be in New York City both times on my bus trip. I'll remember not to stray to far from the bus station!

    Sounds like it was a great job! Love your LO...love the highlights of the photos of the city. Sorry you have to clean so much in the new place....I hate when that happens.

    FANTASTIC layouts! Every single one of the is amazing. I'm notorious for getting lost too but a lot of times I do it on purpose. Drives my husband nuts. I tell him you see more unique and fascinating things when you get lost then when you go straight from point A to point B.

    I know the lost feeling. I live in a tiny hamlet (less than 400 people) on the prairies of northern Montana. When we go to the city I feel totally out of place! While I love seeing all those tall buildings, I find it hard to navigate with no open spaces. Nice layouts.

      I'm glad to be getting rid of stuff. lots of furniture and junk. And I can use that $$ to remodel the new place. :)
