Welcome to my Blog!!
My passion is scrapping and card making and I have ventured into 3D creations too!
I love many crafts and describe myself as a "Instant Gratification" crafter. If I can't get it done in less than an hour I don't want to do it... hence the reason I don't do needle work! But those 3D creations are testing me!
My craft room is my "Happiest Place on Earth" and I love spending every minute I can in my craft room!
Getting out of our comfort zone when it comes to crafting anything is usually
pretty difficult, especially for me!! I have always been one of those instant gratification crafters... give me a glue gun and I will make all kinds of things.
I learned young that needle work was not and never would be my "thing" because it is just so tedious and takes FOREVER!! My first afghan was a total disaster. My first cross stitch was stamped and my first counted cross stitch ... well I took it out of the package and said "OH HECK NO!" I mean it requires MATH and really good eyesight!
I started off this year joining a couple blog hops, I was a nervous wreck thinking people wouldn't like my work, or it wouldn't be as good as the other bloggers. Now I am hooked.
My newest endeavor is the Card A Day Challenge Blog I will have to make one or two cards a week. A WEEK!! I promised to give it my best shot but honestly I fear I don't have the creative process to make that many cards and not scraplift from someone else. We shall see !!!!

Today, some of the best Scrapbooking bloggers I
know teamed up to present a
blog hop to celebrate ALL us Scrapbookers
National Scrapbook Day!
Some info on National Scrapbooking Day:
Each year on the first Saturday in May, it is National Scrapbook Day.
Also known as National Scrapbooking Day, on this day thousands of people get together all over the country to celebrate with scrapbooking parties and share their talents with others.
Scrapbooking dates back to the 15th century.
As per Wikipedia: “Scrapbooking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. Typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media, and artwork. Scrapbook albums are often decorated and frequently contain extensive journaling. Scrapbooking is a widely practiced pastime in the United States.”
Scrapbooking is a hobby of preserving memories and at the same time it provides a strong social network.
”Scrappers”, as they are called, get together and scrapbook at each others homes, local scrapbook stores, scrapbooking conventions, retreat centers and have even gone on cruises. Together they share tips and ideas and enjoy the social outlet.
Scrapbookers are often referred to as "Paper Hoarders".

This is my layout contribution.
Well if you made it this far
pat yourself on the back!
I am the caboose on the blog train today!!
I used kiwi lane templates or my own version of them for this Layout. I tried to match the paper colors to the colors of her dress. I usually pitch all sticker packaging so I have no idea where they came from. I buy my paper buy the pound here in Ohio but the bottom layer came from DCWV "The Glitter Stack". I love this paper pack, it has so many choices and such bright fun colors and designs. And yes the journaling tag is blank! I know BAD Grandma!!
If you started with me, you can now hop to Jessica and start at the beginning!!!
