Welcome to my Blog!! My passion is scrapping and card making and I have ventured into 3D creations too! I love many crafts and describe myself as a "Instant Gratification" crafter. If I can't get it done in less than an hour I don't want to do it... hence the reason I don't do needle work! But those 3D creations are testing me! My craft room is my "Happiest Place on Earth" and I love spending every minute I can in my craft room!

The Cricut Explore
I love my Cricut Expression and after Christmas I upgraded to the Explore. It has been a love hate relationship from the get go. (not the machines fault mind you) It is sort of like my new smart phone, I always say... "Smart phone dumb owner" :)
Everything these days has a learning curve no matter what it is, and since I have been trying to devote more time to it I do believe I am FINALLY getting the hang of this wonderful machine. I know many ladies have sold their old Cricuts and swear they will never EVER buy another but I truly hope you rethink that decision. As the old saying goes "This Ain't Your Mama's Cricut" !! The new CEO / Owner of the company Mr. Ashish Arora is by far the BEST CEO in America today. He truly has a heart for this company and for making EVERY woman in America who owns one HAPPY!! And let me tell ya it takes a very brave man to attempt that feat!
I was told by a wonderful gal in customer service that the man doesn't even have an office! He literally roams Provo Craft HQ all day long and wants to keep up with every aspect of the company.
I can tell you that MANY CEO's of Fortune 500 companies should take lessons from Mr Arora.
The machine is a little over a year old and they have already done two major software updates. The second one finished just last night and appears to be running smoothly.
Before the update I cut out two cards for assembly yesterday. Can I just say I LOVE SVGCuts.com!! The cards are super easy to assemble and you can bling them out as much or as little as you like.
I really enjoyed adding my own touches to these two cards. You can find them at www.svgcuts.com and then click on "Mary" for these designs. (please excuse my paper clip. I want to save placing the greeting till I send it.
